UCLArts & Healing

UCLArts & Healing is a non-profit organization that integrates the arts with mental health practices to promote healing, connection, and resilience. Founded in 2004, the organization provides evidence-based programs, professional development, and community resources that utilize creative expression—such as music, art, dance, and writing—to address social-emotional needs. It is an organizational member of the UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine and operates in partnership with UCLA Health and the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Its signature programs, such as 'Beat the Odds' and the 'Certificate Program in Social Emotional Arts,' are designed to be sustainable and accessible for educators, health professionals, and community members. The organization focuses on using non-pharmacological interventions to improve public health and individual well-being.
