Binhui Bio’s lead asset is an oncolytic herpes simplex virus type II expressing GM-CSF (“OH2 injection”, also called BS001), which has received five INDs and one orphan drug designation from the NMPA/FDA since 2018. It is the first HSV2-derived OV to enter clinical trials globally. Clinical trials have enrolled over 400 subjects across more than twenty research centers in China for various solid tumor indications. The company also develops bispecific oHSV-based agents targeting PD-L1/CD3, nucleic acid/mRNA vaccines, protein therapeutics, and cell therapies.
