Yakima Regional Heart & Medical Center was a 214-bed full-service hospital located in Yakima, Washington, that specialized in advanced cardiovascular care. The facility provided a wide range of services, including open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology, emergency medicine, and diagnostic imaging. Originally established as St. Elizabeth Hospital in 1891, it was a cornerstone of the Yakima community for over a century before being acquired by Astria Health in 2017. Following the acquisition, it was renamed Astria Regional Medical Center. The hospital ceased all operations in early 2020 due to financial difficulties and the bankruptcy of its parent company, marking a significant shift in the regional healthcare landscape.
