[111In]-DOTA-h11B6 is a radiopharmaceutical imaging agent consisting of the humanized monoclonal antibody h11B6, which targets human kallikrein 2 (hK2), conjugated to the chelator DOTA and labeled with the gamma-emitting radionuclide Indium-111. Human kallikrein 2 is a prostate-specific serine protease that is highly expressed in prostate cancer cells but has minimal expression in non-prostate tissues, making it an attractive target for both imaging and therapy. This agent is primarily used in Phase 0 clinical trials to assess the biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, and tumor-targeting capabilities of the h11B6 antibody platform in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). By demonstrating selective accumulation in metastatic lesions, it serves as a diagnostic tool to credential hK2 as a viable target for subsequent therapeutic agents, such as those labeled with alpha or beta emitters.
