Overview

[111In]-FPI-1547 is a radioimmunoconjugate designed as a targeted radioimmuno-imaging agent. It is composed of FPI-1175 (also known as AVE1642), a humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R) expressed on tumor cells. This antibody is linked via the bifunctional chelate FPI-1397 to the radioisotope indium-111 (111In). Upon administration, the FPI-1547 moiety binds to IGF-1R-expressing tumor cells, allowing for their visualization through single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). This diagnostic agent is primarily used to assess IGF-1R expression and tumor uptake, serving as an imaging analogue for the therapeutic drug [225Ac]-FPI-1434. It was developed by Fusion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
