[111In]-FPI-1967 is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical developed by Fusion Pharmaceuticals (a subsidiary of AstraZeneca) for the imaging of solid tumors that express Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 3 (FGFR3). The agent consists of the human monoclonal antibody vofatamab, which is an FGFR3 antagonist, conjugated to the gamma-emitting radioisotope Indium-111. It is utilized in clinical trials as an imaging companion (theranostic pair) to [225Ac]-FPI-1966, an alpha-emitting radiotherapeutic. By binding to the extracellular domain of FGFR3, [111In]-FPI-1967 allows for SPECT imaging to evaluate tumor uptake, biodistribution, and patient-specific dosimetry, thereby identifying candidates most likely to benefit from FGFR3-targeted alpha therapy.
