Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[177Lu]Lu-LNC1004 is an investigational radioligand therapy consisting of a fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) small molecule conjugated to the beta-emitting radionuclide lutetium-177 via a DOTA chelator, and modified with Evans blue (EB) to enhance albumin binding, thereby prolonging blood circulation and tumor retention. Developed by Yantai Lannacheng Biotechnology (a subsidiary of Dongcheng Pharmaceutical), the drug targets fibroblast activation protein (FAP) overexpressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in the tumor microenvironment. It is being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced FAP-positive solid tumors, including radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer.
