Overview

[18F]-CP18 is a radiopharmaceutical agent containing a DEVD (caspase-3 substrate recognition motif) peptide labeled with fluorine-18. It's designed as a PET imaging tracer for detecting apoptosis (programmed cell death) by targeting caspase-3 activity. The tracer clears rapidly through the renal system and has shown promise in preclinical models for imaging apoptotic cells. It is being evaluated as a PET imaging tracer for apoptosis, which could have applications in oncology.
