Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]AlF-CD13-L1 is a fluorine-18-labeled peptide radiopharmaceutical developed by researchers at Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. It acts as a diagnostic positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer targeting aminopeptidase N (APN/CD13), a membrane protein that is highly overexpressed in prostate cancer, including prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-negative prostate cancer, ductal adenocarcinoma of the prostate (DAC), and intraductal carcinoma of the prostate (IDC-P). By selectively binding to CD13, [18F]AlF-CD13-L1 enables the visualization and staging of prostate cancer lesions via PET/CT imaging, addressing a critical diagnostic gap for patients with PSMA-negative disease.
