Drug intelligence / Profile preview
`[18F]AlF-NOTA-DV1-k-(DV3)` is a fluorine-18-labeled radiopharmaceutical developed by KU Leuven for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4). The tracer is based on a D-amino acid-based peptide scaffold (DV1-k-(DV3)) derived from viral macrophage inflammatory protein II (vMIP-II), which is conjugated to a NOTA chelator and labeled with aluminum fluoride-18 ([18F]AlF). It exhibits high binding affinity to both human and murine CXCR4, making it a valuable tool for translational molecular imaging in oncology, cardiology, and inflammatory or infectious diseases where CXCR4 is upregulated.
