Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]fluorbetaox is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent used in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging. It contains the radionuclide fluorine-18, which has a half-life of 110 minutes, making it suitable for PET imaging procedures. The tracer appears to be metabolized in the liver followed by gallbladder accumulation and hepatobiliary clearance. It was developed as an alternative to [11C]Palmitate for measuring fatty acid metabolism, particularly in cardiac applications.
