Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]myo-1 is one of eight new [18F]fluoro-inositol-based radiotracers developed for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging. It is designed with a myo-inositol configuration and features a propyl linker bearing fluorine-18. The fluorinated arm can be attached to either a hydroxyl group (O-alkylated inositols) or the cyclohexyl backbone (C-branched derivatives). These inositols are synthesized in acetylated or hydroxylated forms to modulate lipophilicity. [18F]myo-1 is intended for use as a PET imaging agent, particularly in the context of breast cancer detection and monitoring.
