Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[18F]RCCB6 is a radiolabeled single-domain antibody (sdAb) immunoPET imaging agent targeting CD70, a biomarker highly expressed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The tracer is developed by labeling the RCCB6 sdAb with fluorine-18 using the aluminium fluoride restrained complexing agent (AlF-RESCA) method. [18F]RCCB6 binds specifically to human CD70 and enables high-contrast PET/CT imaging of ccRCC tumors and metastases. Preclinical studies demonstrated its superior tumor-to-background ratio compared to other tracers, and early clinical trials have shown improved diagnostic accuracy over standard 18F-FDG PET/CT for detecting ccRCC lesions. Its primary use is for non-invasive detection, surveillance, and assessment of recurrence or metastasis in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma[1][3][4][5].
