Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[203Pb]Pb-AB102 is a radiopharmaceutical imaging agent developed by ARTBIO for the detection and characterization of solid tumors expressing integrin αvβ6. It consists of a targeting ligand, AB102, chelated to the radioisotope lead-203 ([203Pb]), which emits gamma radiation suitable for Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) imaging. AB102 specifically targets integrin αvβ6, a cell surface receptor upregulated in several aggressive cancers, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), while showing minimal expression in healthy tissues. This agent serves as a diagnostic companion (theranostic pair) to [212Pb]Pb-AB102, an alpha-emitting therapeutic candidate, allowing for patient selection and biodistribution monitoring in clinical trials.
