Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[64Cu]NOTA-HFn is a copper-64 radiolabeled heavy-chain ferritin (HFn) conjugate designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1, also known as CD71) expression. It consists of natural heavy-chain ferritin (HFn), which acts as a ligand for TfR1, conjugated to the chelator 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA) and radiolabeled with copper-64 (64Cu). The agent is being preclinically evaluated for the diagnosis and imaging of transferrin receptor 1-overexpressing cancers, including radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer (RAIR-DTC) and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
