Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]DATA5m.SA.FAPi is a gallium-68 labeled radiopharmaceutical diagnostic imaging agent targeting fibroblast activation protein (FAP). It consists of a squaric acid (SA) coupled hybrid chelator (DATA5m) conjugated to a FAP inhibitor (FAPi) pharmacophore derived from UAMC1110. The DATA5m chelator allows for rapid, quantitative radiolabeling with gallium-68 at room temperature, facilitating "instant kit-type" preparation. It is developed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in various epithelial carcinomas (such as prostate cancer, glioblastoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and pancreatic cancer) as well as disease-associated fibroblasts in benign fibrotic conditions (including pulmonary fibrosis, cardiac fibrosis, and Crohn's disease-associated bowel wall fibrosis).
