Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-CBT-001-2334 is a gallium-68 labeled peptide-based radiopharmaceutical targeting carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX). Developed by C-Biomex in collaboration with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, it is designed as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer for the detection and characterization of CAIX-expressing solid tumors, particularly clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The tracer consists of a proprietary CAIX-targeting peptide conjugated to a DOTA chelator, which is radiolabeled with gallium-68. It is intended to serve as a diagnostic companion to therapeutic radioligands targeting CAIX, such as [177Lu]Lu-CBT-001-2334.
