Overview

[68Ga]Ga-DPI-4452 is a radiopharmaceutical PET imaging tracer designed to target Carbonic Anhydrase IX (CAIX), a protein highly overexpressed in various solid tumors, particularly clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). Developed by Lumara Bio Oncologics in collaboration with ITM Isotope Technologies Munich, it serves as the diagnostic component of a theranostic pair, with [177Lu]Lu-DPI-4452 serving as the therapeutic counterpart. The tracer allows for the non-invasive detection and staging of CAIX-positive lesions, aiding in patient selection for CAIX-targeted radioligand therapy. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for indications including ccRCC, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, and colorectal cancer.
