[68Ga]Ga-FF58 is a radiopharmaceutical agent—a peptide-based probe labeled with gallium-68 (^68Ga) used for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It is designed to target and bind integrins alpha-v beta-3 (αvβ3) and alpha-v beta-5 (αvβ5), which are often overexpressed on the surface of various solid tumor cells, especially in glioblastoma multiforme, brain metastases from breast cancer, gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. After intravenous injection, [68Ga]Ga-FF58 accumulates in tumors via specific integrin binding, allowing noninvasive whole-body PET imaging to delineate tumor burden and integrin expression. The compound is being explored in early clinical trials for its imaging performance, safety, biodistribution, and dosimetry properties for radiopharmaceutical diagnostics in oncology. The agent acts as an integrin-targeted peptide-radiotracer for diagnostic imaging, not as a therapeutic agent[1][3].
