Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-NODAGA(KuE-pdz-JMV594) is a heterobivalent radiopharmaceutical designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of prostate cancer. It simultaneously targets two biomarkers overexpressed in prostate cancer: Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) and Gastrin-Releasing Peptide Receptor (GRPR). The tracer is constructed using a pdz trifunctional platform based on a 3,6-dichlorotetrazine scaffold, which conjugates the PSMA-targeting urea-based inhibitor KuE (lysine-urea-glutamate) and the GRPR-targeting antagonist peptide JMV594 to a NODAGA chelator. Radiolabeled with gallium-68 ([68Ga]), this agent enables dual-receptor PET-CT imaging, offering potentially higher tumor uptake, longer residence time, and improved diagnostic sensitivity compared to monovalent tracers, particularly in heterogeneous tumors where PSMA and GRPR expression may vary.
