[68Ga]Ga-NOTA-EPCD6 is a radiopharmaceutical designed for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging. It consists of the radioisotope Gallium-68 ([68Ga]), chelated by 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid (NOTA), and conjugated to EPCD6, which is a single-domain antibody (nanobody). EPCD6 specifically targets the Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EpCAM), a biomarker overexpressed in many carcinoma tumors and metastatic lesions. This radiotracer is developed for non-invasive visualization of EpCAM expression, which can be used for tumor diagnosis, staging, prognosis, and guiding individualized treatment of EpCAM-targeted therapies.
