[68Ga]Ga-NOTA-RND20

[68Ga]Ga-NOTA-RND20 is a radiopharmaceutical agent labeled with gallium-68, designed for use in immunoPET imaging. It is a Nectin-4-targeted probe, meaning it binds specifically to the Nectin-4 protein, which is overexpressed in several types of cancers. The drug consists of a peptide or antibody fragment conjugated to the chelator NOTA (1,4,7-triazacyclononane-1,4,7-triacetic acid), which securely holds the radioactive gallium-68 isotope. After intravenous administration and binding to its target (Nectin-4), positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) imaging can be performed 1–2 hours post-injection to visualize tumors expressing Nectin-4. Its primary clinical investigation has been for diagnostic imaging of digestive system carcinomas[2][9].
