Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-NYM096 is a radiopharmaceutical small molecule designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of tumors expressing carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX/CA9). Developed by Peking Union Medical College Hospital in collaboration with Norroy Bioscience, it is a next-generation CAIX-targeting agent with significantly higher affinity (approximately 100-fold) compared to its predecessor, NYM005. It is primarily being investigated for the detection and evaluation of primary and metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), particularly in patients who have progressed on standard tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) or immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies. As part of a theranostic pair, it serves as the diagnostic companion to the therapeutic agent [177Lu]Lu-NYM096.
