Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-SCH001 is a novel gallium-68 labeled cyclic peptide radiopharmaceutical that targets CD38. It is being developed as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer for the non-invasive visualization of CD38 expression, assessment of whole-body tumor burden, and monitoring of early therapeutic response in patients with multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders (such as POEMS syndrome). The tracer consists of the cyclic peptide SCH001, which has high affinity and specificity for CD38, conjugated to a chelator (such as NOTA) and radiolabeled with gallium-68. In clinical studies, [68Ga]Ga-SCH001 has demonstrated rapid blood clearance, favorable radiation dosimetry, and high-contrast imaging of focal skeletal lesions in multiple myeloma.
