Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[89Zr]Zr-DFO-hSR7 is an investigational immuno-PET radiotracer designed to image Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (Trop-2) expression in cancer patients. It consists of the humanized monoclonal antibody hSR7—the same antibody used in the antibody-drug conjugate sacituzumab govitecan (Trodelvy)—radiolabeled with the positron-emitting isotope Zirconium-89 (89Zr) via a deferoxamine (DFO) chelator. Administered intravenously, the tracer is used to evaluate the correlation between tracer uptake and Trop-2 expression levels, serving as a companion diagnostic to predict or monitor response to Trop-2 targeted therapies. It is currently being evaluated in exploratory clinical studies for patients with advanced triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), pancreatic cancer, and other Trop-2 expressing malignancies.
