[99mTc]Tc-Soluplus + bevacizumab is a radiolabeled nanoprobe (RNP) developed for preclinical oncology research, specifically for the diagnostic imaging and monitoring of breast and colon cancers. The system consists of Soluplus®-based polymeric micelles, approximately 100 nm in size, which are radiolabeled with technetium-99m (99mTc) and functionalized with the monoclonal antibody bevacizumab. This hybrid biologic-nanoparticle platform utilizes a dual-targeting mechanism: passive accumulation in tumor tissues via the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect and active targeting of the tumor vasculature through bevacizumab's high affinity for vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). In murine models, the probe has demonstrated high radiochemical purity and favorable signal-to-background ratios, making it a valuable research tool for scintigraphy and the characterization of biological processes associated with tumor progression and therapeutic response.
