(R,R')-4'-methoxy-1-naphthylfenoterol (MNF) is a research-stage small molecule and a bivalent analog of (R,R')-fenoterol. It acts as a highly selective β2-adrenergic receptor (β2-AR) agonist and an inhibitor of GPR55-mediated signaling. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its ability to inhibit cancer cell proliferation, motility, and invasion across various malignancies, including glioblastoma, pancreatic cancer, and hepatocarcinoma. MNF also interacts with cannabinoid receptors (CB1R), contributing to its anti-mitogenic effects. The compound was developed in part through research at the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and is associated with Mitchell Woods Pharmaceuticals.
