**Description:** 1-[1-(3-Aminophenyl)-3-tert-butyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl]-3-naphthalen‑1‑ylurea is an experimental small molecule inhibitor belonging to the phenylpyrazole class. It has not been approved for clinical use in any country and is primarily studied as a research tool compound. The molecule acts as a potent inhibitor of mitogen‑activated protein kinase 14 (MAPK14, also known as p38α MAP kinase), with reported binding affinities in the low nanomolar range (IC₅₀ ≈ 90 nM, Kd ≈ 12 nM). MAPK14/p38α plays a key role in inflammatory signaling and cellular stress responses. This compound has also been shown to interact with proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src (SRC), another important signaling protein involved in cell growth and differentiation[10][8]. There are no known clinical indications or ongoing trials for this drug.
