Overview

**111In-CHX-A''-DTPA trastuzumab** is an investigational HER2-targeted radioimmunoconjugate developed by the National Cancer Institute for diagnostic imaging. It consists of the anti-HER2 humanized monoclonal antibody trastuzumab linked through the bifunctional chelator CHX-A''-DTPA to the gamma-emitting radionuclide indium-111. After intravenous administration at tracer doses, it binds human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-expressing tumor cells and enables whole-body gamma-camera or SPECT imaging of HER2 expression, lesion distribution, and tracer biodistribution. It is an imaging agent rather than a therapeutic radioimmunotherapy product.
