Drug intelligence / Profile preview
177Lu-PSMA I&T + 64Cu-PSMA I&T is a theranostic radiopharmaceutical program being developed by Curium in collaboration with PeptiDream and PDRadiopharma for the treatment and diagnosis of prostate cancer. The program consists of two complementary agents: 177Lu-PSMA-I&T (lutetium [177Lu] zadavotide guraxetan), a therapeutic radioligand labeled with the beta-emitting isotope Lutetium-177, and 64Cu-PSMA-I&T, a diagnostic PET imaging agent labeled with Copper-64. Both agents target the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) expressed on prostate cancer cells. The diagnostic agent is used to identify and stage PSMA-positive tumors, while the therapeutic agent delivers targeted radiation to destroy those cancer cells. The therapeutic agent is currently in Phase 3 development (ECLIPSE trial) for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), and the diagnostic agent is in Phase 3 trials (SOLAR RECUR and SOLAR STAGE) for detecting and staging prostate cancer.
