Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination diagnostic radiopharmaceutical composed of **FAPI-XT117**, a fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPi), labeled with two different radionuclides: **gallium-68** and **copper-64**. Both components are used as PET imaging agents to non-invasively visualize the presence of **fibroblast activation protein (FAP)**, which is highly expressed in cancer-associated fibroblasts in the tumor microenvironment of many solid tumors. The combined formulation allows the assessment of biodistribution, tumor uptake, and pharmacokinetics at different time-points associated with the half-lives of the radionuclides. The primary indication is imaging of FAP-positive tumors for diagnosis, characterization, or pre-therapeutic assessment in oncology.[7][2]
