Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-FC516 + 68Ga-labeled PSMA-targeting tracer refers to a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical combination used in clinical imaging protocols for prostate cancer. Developed and evaluated by FindCure Biosciences (ZhongShan) Co., Ltd., this combination consists of 68Ga-FC516, a novel investigational PET tracer, and an established 68Ga-labeled PSMA-targeting tracer (such as 68Ga-PSMA-11). The PSMA-targeting component binds specifically to the Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA), a cell-surface protein highly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells, allowing for the visualization of primary and metastatic lesions. In clinical trials, these tracers are administered to evaluate the comparative dosimetry, safety, biodistribution, and diagnostic efficacy of the novel FC516 agent against standard-of-care PSMA-based imaging in both healthy subjects and patients with prostate cancer.
