68Ga-NYM096 + 177Lu-NYM096 is a combination of two radiopharmaceutical agents developed for the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The combination leverages theranostic principles, where 68Ga-NYM096 is used as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent to identify tumors expressing the target antigen, while 177Lu-NYM096 serves as a therapeutic agent delivering targeted beta radiation to tumor cells. Both agents are based on the same targeting molecule but labeled with different radioisotopes—gallium-68 for diagnostic imaging and lutetium-177 for therapy. This approach allows patient selection and monitoring via PET/CT before proceeding to targeted radionuclide therapy. The primary developer is Peking Union Medical College Hospital[6][7]. Clinical development is currently in Phase I trials in patients with metastatic ccRCC who have progressed after or cannot undergo standard tyrosine kinase inhibitor or immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies[1][2][3][6].
