Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**9MW2821 + toripalimab** is an investigational combination therapy under clinical development for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma. 9MW2821 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting Nectin-4, a cell surface adhesion molecule overexpressed in several cancers, and delivers a cytotoxic MMAE payload to Nectin-4 positive tumor cells. Toripalimab is a recombinant, humanized monoclonal antibody against PD-1, functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking the interaction of PD-1 with its ligands, thereby restoring T-cell immune response against cancer cells. Both agents are administered via intravenous infusion and have demonstrated promising efficacy and tolerable safety profiles in early-phase clinical studies in treatment-naïve patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma[1][2][4][5][6].
