AB-106 + itraconazole is a **combination therapy** consisting of taletrectinib (AB-106) and itraconazole. AB-106 (taletrectinib) is an orally available small molecule **kinase inhibitor** targeting receptor tyrosine kinases ROS1 and neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinases (NTRK) 1, 2, and 3. It disrupts ROS1- and NTRK-mediated signaling, thereby arresting tumor growth in cancers overexpressing these kinases. Itraconazole is an azole-type antifungal that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking fungal cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase, leading to defective cell membrane integrity. This combination may enhance antineoplastic activity or be investigated for synergistic effects in oncology or fungal infection settings.
