AB801 + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy for cancer composed of **AB801**, a potent and highly selective small molecule inhibitor of the receptor tyrosine kinase **AXL**, and **docetaxel**, a taxane-class chemotherapeutic agent. AB801 targets and inhibits AXL signaling which mediates resistance to multiple therapies and fosters an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. Preclinical studies show that AB801 enhances sensitivity to chemotherapy, including docetaxel, by increasing DNA damage in cancer cells, overcoming AXL-mediated resistance, and improving anti-tumor responses[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]. The combination is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other malignancies[9][5].
