Overview

**ABBV-155 + docetaxel** is an investigational combination therapy consisting of mirzotamab clezutoclax (ABBV-155) and the chemotherapy agent docetaxel. ABBV-155 is a first-in-class antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) composed of an anti–B7-H3 monoclonal antibody linked via a solubilizing linker to a BCL-XL inhibitor payload. The monoclonal antibody selectively binds B7-H3 (CD276), which is overexpressed on many cancer cells, enabling targeted delivery of the cytotoxic BCL-XL inhibitor to tumor cells. Docetaxel is a well-established microtubule inhibitor chemotherapy. The combination aims to exploit synergistic cytotoxic effects, as BCL-XL inhibition sensitizes tumor cells to apoptosis induced by docetaxel and may help overcome resistance to taxane chemotherapy. The combination has been evaluated in phase 1 trials for relapsed/refractory solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer, among others[1][2][3][6].
