Overview

ABBV-3373 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by AbbVie for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other immune-mediated inflammatory diseases. It consists of the anti-tumor necrosis factor (anti-TNF) monoclonal antibody adalimumab covalently linked to a proprietary small-molecule glucocorticoid receptor modulator (GRM). The design aims to deliver the glucocorticoid payload directly into activated immune cells expressing membrane-bound TNF, thereby precisely targeting inflammation while minimizing systemic side effects typically associated with glucocorticoids. Clinical studies have shown that ABBV-3373 can reduce disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis patients more effectively than historical data for adalimumab alone, with a safety profile generally similar to adalimumab[1][2][3][7].
