This is a combination regimen consisting of four agents: - abdelimumab (likely intended as adalimumab, but no evidence for "abdelimumab" as a recognized drug; see comments) - albumin-bound paclitaxel (also known as nab-paclitaxel, a microtubule inhibitor formulated with human albumin to improve solubility and delivery) - carboplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis) - apatinib (a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 [VEGFR2], inhibiting angiogenesis) The combination of apatinib with paclitaxel and carboplatin has been studied in neoadjuvant therapy for locally advanced triple-negative breast cancer, showing improved efficacy compared to chemotherapy alone[1][2][3][4]. Albumin-bound paclitaxel is used instead of conventional paclitaxel to reduce hypersensitivity reactions. The addition of an immune checkpoint inhibitor such as adalimumab/abdelimumab would be experimental; however, there are no published studies or regulatory approvals for the use of "abdelimumab" in this context.
