It is a multi-modality approach designed for men with castration-sensitive oligometastatic prostate cancer. The regimen combines standard androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) with abiraterone acetate (a CYP17A1 inhibitor) to achieve maximal androgen blockade, the PARP inhibitor olaparib to target DNA repair mechanisms, and focal radiation therapy to provide definitive local control of metastatic lesions. The strategy aims to improve outcomes by simultaneously suppressing androgen signaling, inducing DNA damage through radiation, and exploiting DNA repair deficiencies via PARP inhibition.
