AbobotulinumtoxinA (marketed as Dysport) is a neuro-muscular blocker and acetylcholine release inhibitor derived from the bacterium *Clostridium botulinum*. It is used to treat cervical dystonia (abnormal head position and neck pain), muscle spasms and stiffness (spasticity) in adults and children, as well as for cosmetic reduction of facial wrinkles. Its mechanism involves inhibition of synaptosomal-associated protein 25 (SNAP-25), thereby blocking acetylcholine release at neuromuscular junctions and causing temporary muscle paralysis[3][5][8]. Brimonidine is a highly selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist used primarily to lower intraocular pressure in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension, and also for facial erythema in rosacea. It works by decreasing aqueous humor production and increasing uveoscleral outflow in the eye[1][4]. Brimonidine’s selectivity reduces systemic side effects compared to other adrenergic agonists.
