Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This coadministration regimen consists of Pfizer's Abrysvo (RSVpreF) and a seasonal inactivated influenza vaccine (SIIV), specifically evaluated in Phase 3 clinical trials using the adjuvanted FLUAD QUADRIVALENT. Abrysvo is a bivalent recombinant protein subunit vaccine composed of stabilized prefusion F glycoproteins from RSV-A and RSV-B subgroups. The influenza component is a quadrivalent inactivated vaccine. This combination is designed for adults aged 65 and older to provide simultaneous protection against lower respiratory tract disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and seasonal influenza in a single healthcare visit. Clinical data support the safety and noninferior immunogenicity of concomitant administration compared to sequential administration.
