Overview

ABT-165 + paclitaxel is a combination regimen investigated for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. ABT-165 (also known as dilpacimab) is a dual-variable domain immunoglobulin engineered to bind and inhibit both delta-like ligand 4 (DLL4) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), thereby targeting dual angiogenic pathways involved in tumor growth and maintenance. Paclitaxel is a mitotic inhibitor that stabilizes microtubules, preventing cell division and leading to apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. Together, the combination aims to enhance antitumor efficacy by simultaneously disrupting tumor vasculature (via ABT-165) and directly inhibiting cancer cell proliferation (via paclitaxel)[1][4][6].
