ABX-101 (Autobahn Therapeutics)

ABX-101 is a next-generation, brain-penetrant, oral sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) receptor modulator being developed by Autobahn Therapeutics for the treatment of neuroimmunologic and neuroinflammatory disorders. It is a small molecule prodrug that utilizes a fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH)-mediated brain-targeting platform to achieve high central nervous system (CNS) exposure. By modulating S1P receptors on multiple cell types within the brain, ABX-101 aims to address the underlying pathology of inflammatory CNS diseases while optimizing peripheral immunomodulatory effects. As of 2024, the program is advancing toward Phase 1 clinical development.
