Overview

This is a **combination therapy** consisting of acapatamab, a half-life extended bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) on prostate cancer cells and CD3 on T cells, and enzalutamide, an androgen receptor inhibitor. Acapatamab acts as a T-cell engager to direct immune-mediated killing of prostate cancer cells, while enzalutamide inhibits androgen signaling that drives prostate cancer progression. Acapatamab is being developed and studied primarily for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC), particularly in patients refractory to androgen receptor pathway inhibitor therapy and taxane-based chemotherapy. The combination is under evaluation to potentiate antitumor immune activity and androgen deprivation[5].
