Aceclidine + brimonidine

Aceclidine + brimonidine is a fixed-dose combination of two small molecule ophthalmic agents used primarily for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Aceclidine is a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor agonist that induces miosis (pupil constriction) by stimulating cholinergic receptors in the eye, thereby increasing aqueous humor outflow and reducing intraocular pressure. Brimonidine is a highly selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that lowers intraocular pressure by decreasing aqueous humor production and increasing uveoscleral outflow.
