Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Aceboat P is a fixed-dose combination medication containing aceclofenac and paracetamol, developed by Zeebharat Med Private Limited. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the phenylacetic acid class that acts by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, primarily COX-2, thereby blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in pain and inflammation. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is an analgesic and antipyretic agent that works through central nervous system pathways to increase the pain threshold and reduce fever. This combination is commonly used for the management of acute and chronic pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
