acetaminophen + nalbuphine

Acetaminophen + nalbuphine is a combination analgesic drug consisting of acetaminophen, a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic, and nalbuphine, an opioid analgesic with mixed agonist-antagonist properties. Acetaminophen acts primarily in the central nervous system to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, providing pain relief and fever reduction. Nalbuphine is a kappa opioid receptor agonist and mu opioid receptor antagonist/partial agonist; it provides moderate to severe pain relief with a ceiling effect on respiratory depression and lower dependence liability compared to full mu-opioid agonists. The combination has been shown to provide additive or potentially synergistic analgesia, allowing for effective pain control at reduced doses of each component[1][2]. This may reduce the risk of side effects associated with higher doses of either drug alone.
