AcSDKP-NH2 + Cr-EDTA is a combination of two distinct compounds: - **AcSDKP-NH2** (N-acetyl-seryl-aspartyl-lysyl-proline amide) is a synthetic tetrapeptide derivative of the naturally occurring peptide Ac-SDKP. Its mechanism involves inhibition of proinflammatory cytokines, chemokines, immune cell infiltration, and complement activation. - **Cr-EDTA** (chromium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a chelated complex commonly used as a marker to assess glomerular filtration rate (GFR) due to its renal excretion profile. It does not have direct pharmacological activity but serves as a diagnostic tool. This combination does not represent an approved pharmaceutical product but may be used experimentally or analytically where both antifibrotic/anti-inflammatory effects (from AcSDKP-NH2) are studied alongside renal function assessment using Cr-EDTA.
