Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of acyline (a GnRH antagonist), dutasteride (a 5α-reductase inhibitor), and testosterone that has been studied for potential applications in male contraception and hormone replacement therapy. The combination works by suppressing gonadotropin secretion (acyline), inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (dutasteride), while providing androgenic effects (testosterone). Studies have shown this combination can significantly reduce intratesticular testosterone levels, affect germ cell populations, and potentially improve insulin sensitivity and body composition.
